On one hand (pun unintended) Steve gets what Bucky is doing, and why.
He doesn't believe he has any right to, or reason for, being uncomfortable with it (but is, at least a little. For what it reminds him of, mostly, from his failure to save Bucky onward.) Bucky has plenty of reason to be.
He truly doesn't think that's going to help either of them. He doesn't want this becoming an avoided topic or habit. He wouldn't even if they weren't getting into the same bed. It's part of Bucky. Full stop.
He turns off the overhead light, but leaves the lamp on the nightstand on. "I'm absolutely not going to let this become a thing. So. Do you want that side of the bed and rolled to face me so I can get to your arm, or to switch sides?"
